Guest Ratings & Reviews
The hotel's location is strategic, near the place I wanted to be, and fairly far from the city center but convenient if you have your own transport. The rooms were still lovely, except for some changes in a few pieces of furniture, but I requested a non-smoking room during a low season period and unfortunately got one with a strong smell of cigarettes, which made the experience not as pleasant as before.
Staying at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were clean, airy, and comfortable, but there was a persistent smell of cigarette smoke. On the bright side, the atmosphere was comfy and quiet. The service was friendly but could benefit from more professional training. The location, although outside the city center, was convenient for those with own transport. The dining experience was budget-friendly with some great dishes but also some inconsistencies. Overall, it's a decent option with its ups and downs.
The hotel was good, but with some room for improvement. The rooms were still nice but had some changes with the furniture. The strong smell of cigarettes in the non-smoking room made the experience less enjoyable. The service was helpful, especially with staff assisting guests with luggage at the entrance door. The location was convenient for a business trip but not very exciting due to the busy road intersection. The dining options were simple and average, though there was a need for more variety in the menu.
The hotel is a bit far from the city center, but if you have your own transport, it's not an issue. It's not within walking distance of souvenir shops, but being outside of Kuching town means everything is cheaper than in town. The rooms available without checking make the hotel comfortable. However, not being able to help customers with the payment process is a drawback.
I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Although the rooms were not fully refurbished, they were still clean, airy, and comfortable. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The location is convenient if you have your own transport, but not ideal for walking to souvenir shops. The dining experience was a winner for a fairly budgeted hotel, especially the sambal nasi lemak and aromatic black coffee. The facilities were good, although parking space was limited.
